Where will you step in?
As a valuable member of our Land Use and Transportation team, you will work to support our northeastern waterfront and coastal clients. This position is based out of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. You will be primarily in the field, with a hybrid approach to office work when construction is not being performed. Our Marine/Waterfront Group and Projects
We focus on planning, engineering and construction phase services that address the many challenges of the Marine and Waterfront environment for public and private clients. Projects range from seawalls, revetments, piers, outfalls and port infrastructure improvements with a focus on climate resiliency and suitability. What will you be doing?
You will support our Marine/Waterfront practice area by observing work being performed by contractors to confirm general compliance with the contract documents. Reviewing design plans, shop drawings, submittals, and payment applications; conducting general construction administration using computer-based construction management software;, preparing field logs; and completing verbal and written communication is expected. You will be required to communicate regularly with the engineering project manager, client representatives, utility companies, state agencies, and adjacent landowners to update progress and minimize disruption to existing infrastructure. What do you need?
You need 5 or more years of experience in construction observation preferably including the placement of reinforced concrete, structural steel members, and timber construction. You should also have experience with survey, pile driving, and material testing. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Experience with AutoCAD and construction management software such as Procore is preferred. A BS in engineering or related field or NICET certification is also preferred. Ways to grow your career

The salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $64,118-84,247.
