Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Water Technician to join our team in providing comprehensive restoration services. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in water damage restoration, fire and mold remediation, and other related restoration projects. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing various tools and techniques to restore properties efficiently and effectively. Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and performing physical tasks in challenging conditions. This role is essential for helping clients recover from water, fire, and mold damage while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Perform water extraction, drying, and mitigation processes to restore affected areas Assist with fire restoration efforts, including debris removal and cleaning Conduct mold remediation procedures following industry standards Use hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and restoration tasks Assist with asbestos abatement projects when required Clean and maintain equipment such as vacuums, extractors, and other restoration tools Work with construction materials to rebuild or repair damaged structures Perform carpet cleaning and other surface cleaning tasks as needed Follow safety protocols during all restoration activities to ensure a safe work environment Document job progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements

Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable; experience in water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement is a plus Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in restoration projects Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions Construction or carpentry experience is beneficial but not mandatory Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced situations Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to travel as needed Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards
