Water Mitigation Manager

to lead / oversee our mitigation projects from start to finish.

Position Overview:

The Water Mitigation Manager will be responsible for overseeing water damage mitigation projects, coordinating field crews, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and insurance carrier requirements. This role is a combination of hands-on field work and office-based project management, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of water mitigation projects, from initial inspection to job completion. Conduct site visits, perform assessments, and document damages using company and industry-standard tools (Matterport, Xactimate, CompanyCam, Restoration Manager CRM) Create detailed estimates in

Xactimate

for submission to insurance carriers. Communicate and build strong working relationships with insurance adjusters, homeowners, and commercial clients. Utilize

Matterport

or similar technology Xactimate Pro (experience a plus) for site sketches / documentation. Oversee field crews to ensure safety, quality of work, and timely project completion. Track project progress, costs, and documentation for insurance submission to meet company and insurance requirements. Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed throughout the mitigation process. Support the development of standard operating procedures and best practices within the mitigation department.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Authorized to work in the United States. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related field (insurance claims). Experience working directly with

insurance adjusters

. Proficiency in

Xactimate

estimating software required. Experience with

Matterport

or 3D documentation tools preferred. IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) or equivalent certification a plus. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance field responsibilities with office-based administrative tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
