Summary

Waste Water Technician involves monitoring and controlling equipment, collecting samples, performing maintenance, and ensuring that wastewater is treated properly to meet safety and environmental regulations.

Primary Function

To operate and maintain equipment at a wastewater treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting and maintaining equipment Monitoring gauges and control panels Collecting and testing wastewater samples Adjusting systems to ensure proper treatment Following safety protocols and government regulations

Required Skills

Knowledge of chemical compositions Strong observational and problem-solving skills, including understanding of ratios Ability to work with complex machinery and systems Must be able to follow safety procedures and environmental regulation
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
