Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with the community and promote our organization's mission
- Conduct public speaking engagements to educate the public about our programs and services
- Manage outreach projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion and desired outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective outreach programs
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the impact of outreach efforts and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with community partners to expand outreach efforts
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in outreach and community engagement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional organization skills
- Experience in outreach, program development, marketing or a related field
- Strong public speaking and writing skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with community members and stakeholders
- Proficient in project management techniques and tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
- Working proficiency in computer skills, (MS-Office, Google application, social media platforms, graphic design, etc.)
- Ability to learn the District's scale software system on the computer, make changes, and record the types and amounts of waste across the scales, as well as obtaining a VT Weighmaster's License
- Knowledge of community resources is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
