Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves operating various types of commercial vehicles, managing warehouse tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle physical tasks related to moving and loading products. Duties

Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and specialized equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques. Deliver goods to designated locations following scheduled routes, including shuttle driving, route driving, or heavy haul operations. Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance reports. Assist in warehouse organization, inventory management, and moving supplies or equipment within the facility. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or operational issues. Operate heavy equipment when necessary, including forklift operation or heavy haul machinery. Follow all safety protocols related to commercial vehicle operation and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving such as delivery driver experience, bus driving, shuttle driving, or route driving. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for tractor-trailers or heavy equipment). Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and heavy equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks. Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, pallet jacks, or yard jockey operations preferred. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Physical ability to move cargo safely and efficiently; capable of lifting heavy loads when necessary. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and warehouse safety standards. Prior experience with specialized vehicles like tanker trucks, limousines, military vehicles, or heavy haul equipment is a plus. This role is essential for ensuring smooth logistics operations while maintaining high safety standards. Candidates should be dependable team players with a focus on efficiency and professionalism in all aspects of their work.
Pay: $23.34 - $28.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
