We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes for loading and unloading goods.
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements.
Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution and management.
Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems, including AS400.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks safely.
Experience with order picking, packaging, and shipping & receiving processes.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
