Warehouse Worker - Reach Truck Operator - 2nd Shift (Job Number: 2310034 )

Wage:

• $19/hr Base Rate

• $1/hr Shift Differential

Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Start time 4:30 PM until work is finish (typically 10-12 hours per shift)

• Days will be discussed during hiring process.

• Weekend/Holidays work always required

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and compare items

• Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received

• Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse

• Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways to stacking items n the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner

• Inspect incoming loads for cold chain compliance

• Record damaged or defective items as appropriate

• Organize records of incoming products

• Marks materials with identifying information

• Weights or counts items for distribution

• Checks shipments for quality and accuracy

• Must be flexible to work overtime if requested

• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Reach Truck experience required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required

• Flexible to work overtime preferred

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
