Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Associate /Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts & pallet jacks to efficiently handle materials and support warehouse operations.

Must have valid drivers license and ability to drive truck to deliver and unload stone material.

This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and materials handling procedures. This position will play a vital role in ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized and that large stone slabs are moved safely during loading and unloading processes.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently for loading and unloading shipments. Warehouse management to ensure correct inventory handling. Load and unload stone slabs from trucks and move them around warehouse while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Deliver, load and unload stone slabs to customers. Support shipping and receiving activities by organizing inventory and maintaining accurate records. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting or report repairs needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with other associates to optimize storage layouts and improve workflow processes. Adhere to all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction setting. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to material handling and heavy equipment operation. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment. Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds or more) repeatedly throughout the shift. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, materials handling, or warehouse distribution is preferred. Valid certification for forklift operation is required; additional certifications for crane or clamp truck operation are a plus. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
