Duties

Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers Pick and pack orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, cranes, and other mechanical tools safely in accordance with OSHA standards Manage inventory control through regular cycle counts and stock adjustments Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely order fulfillment Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Support materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, palletizing products, and packaging items for shipment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational procedures

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or manufacturing environments Proficiency operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks Strong knowledge of inventory control systems such as RF scanners and AS400 Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management tasks Previous warehouse supervisor or management experience is a plus Knowledge of materials handling techniques including construction-related equipment is advantageous
This position requires a reliable individual capable of working in a physically demanding environment while maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy. Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with warehouse systems, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
