Duties

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using RF scanners and pick systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling. Handle materials with care during loading and unloading activities. Manage inventory control through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring stock levels are accurate and organized. Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes to maintain safety standards and mechanical integrity. Support warehouse supervision by maintaining a clean, safe work environment and assisting with operational tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience involving distribution, order picking, or materials handling is highly preferred. Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or load & unload machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, OSHA regulations, and heavy lifting procedures. Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus. Experience in shipping & receiving operations or construction environments adds valuable insight. Prior supervisory experience in warehouse settings demonstrates leadership capabilities. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols. Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
