JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending out inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. These duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping orders as required, completing Put-Away of incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Maintaining a positive attitude that is conducive to a productive work environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

All applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED

Warehouse worker applicants should ideally have prior experience working in a warehouse

Strong memory that allows them to recall information about products, shipping details and the warehouse layout so they can easily access the inventory they need.

Knowledge to use logistics software to accept incoming packages and outbound shipments

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Collecting merchandise as it arrived each day and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.

Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or returns.

Properly receive and/or shipping inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.

Identifying any missing lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor

Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.

Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.

Applying correct shipping labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.

Spend their days counting inventory, sorting goods, re-stocking, or re-filling an empty bin

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 50 pounds

Ability to work independently and safely
