Warehouse Worker/Returns Blue Ridge Summit, PA
Rowman & Littlefield/National Book Network (NBN) is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker in the Returns Department. Responsibilities

• Process individual customer returns.
• Ensure customer accounts are credited for the returned books.
• Accurate scanning and data entry of customer-returned products in the Operating system.
• Perform a quality control check, inspecting books to identify damages/defects.
• Follow all Operating System Processes as outlined to avoid errors in all inventory units and monetary credit to customer accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math computations.
• Work independently and problem-solve.
• Start and complete assignments in a timely, unsupervised manner.
• Must be able to work with a handheld RF Scanner and desktop computer.
• Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Must be willing to be cross trained on other duties within the department/warehouse, which may require climbing stairs (working on the mezzanine)

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to warm and/or humid conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
