The Warehouse Technician will be involved in daily shipping and receiving functions as well as maintaining accurate inventory counts. The Warehouse Technician will also facilitate the movement of materials between multiple production locations and assist with the staging of materials for production operations. Will cross-train with blending technician to insure appropriate content mixture, purity, and color. Ability to accurately stage materials and or equipment for production needs. Works closely with production managers to ensure status and availability of materials in the warehouse and on order. Examines material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts. Expedites the movement of material between locations based on production schedule and order priorities.Assist with production floor as needed.
II. Required Skills:

III. Essential Functions:
Loads and unloads materials from transport vehicles.
Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Verifies shipping/receiving requirements against appropriate documentation (packing slips/po/etc.)
Logs receiving and shipping of material into computer management system (IQMS)
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
Maintains material movement log on a daily basis via daily production sheet and electronic records.
Appropriately tags or labels containers (boxes, pallets, etc.) for quick identification and location.
Stacks, bundles, and bands bundles material together, using banding machine, clincher, or pallet wrapper.
Lifts heavy objects by hand or using power hoist and may make simple adjustments or repairs.
Conduct accurate inventory counts of materials at various time intervals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Conveys materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck or other devices.
Communicate warehouse schedules for pickup and delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
Obtain shipping quotes and prepare shipments based on identified requirements.
IV. Performance Criteria:
Accountability and ownership of inventory quantities and locations
Timely receiving and accurate entry of materials against PO into IQMS
Appropriately stages required materials needed for production
Maintains a safe and organized warehouse
V. Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
Moderate computer software skills (MS Excel/Word/Outlook)
High school diploma or GED
Able to lift to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand/walk for an 8-hour manufacturing shift
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and communicate in English.
