Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and team leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient inventory management, shipping and receiving processes, and overall operational excellence within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Help lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee daily operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the warehouse. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Manage inventory levels through effective tracking and control measures. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Coordinate training for new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment operation, including forklift usage. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar managerial role within a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics processes. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements effectively. Mechanical knowledge is preferred to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is essential. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and tools. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
