Primarily Mid-Shift (must be flexible for both 1st & 2nd shift coverage)
Overview
Our client in Spanaway, WA is seeking a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee CSR operations across both 1st and 2nd shifts. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively balance floor supervision with administrative responsibilities, training, and reporting.
The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and teachable, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise CSR and warehouse staff across both shifts (1st shift begins at 5:00 AM; 2nd shift ends between 11:30 PM-2:00 AM during peak season).
2. Provide consistent leadership, accountability, and performance management.
3. Support both shifts as needed for training, coverage, and operational support.
4. Perform hands-on floor supervision -- approximately 90% of time spent on the warehouse floor.
5. Utilize and manage the Acellos WMS (Warehouse Management System); maintain accuracy in data, inventory, and reporting.
6. Generate and deliver daily reports and analytics to senior management and ownership.
7. Cross-train in all Warehouse Supervisor functions to support the team during vacations, call-outs, and peak seasons.
8. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external customers to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
9. Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in warehouse supervision or leadership within a logistics/distribution environment.
2. Strong computer literacy -- proficient with Excel and capable of learning new systems quickly.
3. Experience with Acellos WMS or similar systems preferred.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Flexibility to work varying schedules across both day and evening shifts as needed.
6. Strong attendance and reliability -- must be committed to no planned time off during the initial 90-day training period.
7. Willingness to learn and adopt "The Company Way" of processes before contributing to process improvements.
