Job Summary

Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall market share

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by Manager Maintain and update equipment and product tracking log Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product when it arrives Manage warehouse functions, including, but not limited to shipping, receiving and inventory control Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory Responsible for pulling inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets Coordinate and manage the maintenance of equipment Answer all incoming calls and email queries; assisting customers, clients and related vendors as needed

Skills and Abilities

Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail Prior education in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally Proficient in windows and Microsoft applications such as MS Word and Excel Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

Education and/or Experience

Associate's Degree or higher preferred Minimum 2 years of Warehouse or inventory experience Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking and receiving. International shipping experience is preferred Must be able to pass and complete internal forklift certification Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards
