Warehouse Supervisor - 300 Picketville RD,Jacksonville,Florida,32220

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of forklift operators and shipping and receiving clerks to achieve company goals related to safety, quality and productivity. The warehouse supervisor will be expected to achieve these results through team development, process improvement and accountability. They will also collaborate and partner with peers and support teams to positively impact customer service and maintain proper inventory control within the warehouse

Shift & Schedule:

This is a full time position on Days working our 12 hr shift schedule working 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

  • Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday
Compensation: This is a full-time salaried position. Paid on a biweekly basis.

Position Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Warehouse/Shipping team and creating Standard work for their job duties.
  • Support and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through Kaizen, TPM and 5S.
  • Develop and maintain a winning culture throughout the organization through leadership behaviors reflective of KDP core values and competencies
  • Ensure all associates comply with GMP, PPE, company safety rules, and OSHA regulations. Safety is top priority.
  • Evaluate current job functions that support Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, HR, Finance and Safety and ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Manage all Warehouse/Shipping work schedules, time edits/recording and tracking all KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and reporting them to the plant.
  • Drive Associate Engagement by servant leadership, clear communication, leading by example of our core values and holding yourself and those that report to you accountable in all aspects of their job functions.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Understands the importance of crucial conversations and supporting associate development and being fair and consistent in all aspects of the position.
  • Generate and complete all reports in a timely manner to include, time recording, incident/accident reports, coaching and corrective actions.
  • Provide coverage for Leads due to paid time off if required.
  • Daily Warehouse maintenance checks; safety and truck gates, dock doors, forklifts, recycling, cleanliness of breakrooms, bathrooms and overall warehouse needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing / six sigma techniques
  • 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory and Delivery, Operations experience in a warehouse environment
  • 3 years of experience in a strong leadership role, presenting to regional leadership teams, local leadership teams, and supervising front line employees
  • 3 years of experience of inventory and financial cost management systems: SAP or similar system capability.
  • 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
