The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the team runs efficiently and effectively. This hands-on leader sets the tone by modeling excellence, solving problems proactively, and inspiring the team to stay motivated, engaged, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions

Lead a team to work effectively toward production goals. Plan and organize the work and resources required to run the shift efficiently. Ensure that all material handling equipment is in safe operating condition. Achieve and maintain company standards. Ensure orders are filled and shipped same day/next day. Communicate information appropriately and timely. Assist in the hiring process: Conduct interviews. Oversee training and scheduling for the warehouse operation. Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices. Provide engagement efforts to ensure employee retention and satisfaction. Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences. Respond to employees' needs promptly. Train, coach, and encourage employee professional growth. Setting and tracking goals for improving accuracy and production Conduct performance appraisals that are timely and constructive Administer corrective action as necessary. Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned.

Manage all company business according to the cultural objectives of the Company. Participate in cross-functional teams as required to advance the business interests of the organization. Compliance with all Company and regulatory policies/ guidelines related to associate safety and product quality.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Mobility to access areas of the warehouse Walking / bending

Required Education and Experience:



Experience leading a team, preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting. Leading a team, project or activity based will be considered. General warehouse experience desirable. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Higher education experience preferred. Customer service experience desired

Required Skills / Abilities:



Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Maintains intermediate level of excel knowledge. Accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to handle confidential matters. Ability to communicate effectively, with tact and professionalism. Ability to work autonomously, using resources to complete tasks in a timely manner. Demonstrates sufficient math, reading, and computer skills to perform job tasks. Demonstrates ownership of responsibilities necessary to achieve desired results and considers additional ways to help the company beyond assigned tasks. Adapts to changes in the work environment. Changes approach or method to best fit the situation. Able to handle change, delays, and unexpected events. Shows initiative, good judgment and adaptability for quick and/or frequent changes within daily tasks to be executed.
