We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. This position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards while maintaining high productivity levels.

Starting Pay: $22.00

Shift:

Monday through Friday: 0730 - 1700

JOB FUNCTION:

Warehouse Team Members are critical to the success of our operation. This position will perform work related to incoming freight and delivery requirements. Help to accurately stage, locate, load trucks and at times deliver our customers' freight. Warehousing, material handling, labeling, and other related duties will be assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise Supervising, coaching, and training the warehouse workforce Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations, and communicating the company's goals or objectives Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters Ensuring that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance. Examples include cost statement, health certificates, permits, etc. Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization Examining, identifying, planning and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained. Safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and other equipment. Be willing to adjust work hours if needed to maintain productivity.

Experience

1 - 2 years previous warehouse experience Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices is essential. Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable. Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
