Job Summary:

Peak is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire position with a 90-day probation period. The Warehouse Supervisor works with the Warehouse Manager to supervise warehouse employees to ensure a) production goals are met accurately, timely, and efficiently, b) inbound shipments are received accurately and efficiently, c) employees have the resources, training and supervision necessary to maximize efficiency. This is a hands-on position that requires an individual with a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

? Supervise warehouse shift B (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and the daily work of employees assigned to shift

? Coordinate schedules for employees and manage time sheets

? Review production needs and workloads and assign tasks to employees

? Serve as model and coach for employees to ensure high levels of accuracy and productivity

? Ensure employees are trained and have the resources and support to perform at a high level

? Oversee daily shipping, receiving and order printing

? Perform cycle counts and take physical inventory

? Coordinate status checks on customer orders and materials.

? Manage returns and customer pickups

? Work with the team and outside resources to maintain equipment

? Report required repairs to maintenance and/or management as necessary

? Maintain a clean, professional and safe warehouse environment

? Safely operate various equipment and tools

? Lead safety meetings and production meetings

? Performs the duties of employees supervised and other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

Bilingual (Conversational English/Spanish)

? Ability to Tuesday through Saturday

Preferred Qualifications:

? At least 3 years experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving

? Ability to be hands-on, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines

? Ability to prioritize work assignments based on daily operational needs

? Forklift experience (sit down and order picker)

? Experience with inventory, cycle counts, product storage

? Experience with returns and customer pick ups

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The warehouse is warm during the summer and cold during the winter. Individuals may need to a) walk extensive periods of time, b) reach over shoulder heights, c) bend below the waist , d) have repetitive wrist movement, e) occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
