Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activities of the warehouse to maximize production goals and requirements
• Utilize 5S methodology to keep the warehouse well organized, neat, and clean
• Utilize material handling equipment when necessary
• Ensure safety of everyone in the warehouse through proper training and OSHA adherence
• Execute all projects in the most efficient manner, managing productivity and reporting results.
• Must be able to supply sound communication and motivation techniques to supervise, develop, coach, and lead the team
• Exceed operational goals as related to sales, profitability, expenses and operations through implementing and coordinating systems and processes
• Responsible for all items that arrive or leave the warehouse must be logged into the system promptly and delivered as required
• Update all daily and monthly operating reports as directed
• Review ongoing departmental performance results and take corrective measures as needed

Requirements:

• Two to four years of management/supervisor experience
• Strong understanding of the job functions and possesses the knowledge and skills required to perform the required job functions
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Project)
• Dependable, responsible, and willing to accept accountability
• Strong learning orientation for self; keeps abreast of changes in current field and new technology
• Effectively communicate and interact with a diverse audience
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Customer service orientation (internal and external)
• Results oriented with good planning, organizational and time-management skills
• Handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment; delivers on commitments
• Follow-through and attention to detail and accuracy of own work
• Decision making and problem-solving skills
• Adapt to a continuously changing working environment
• Develop and implement more efficient ways of working
• Experience in forklift certification and inspection, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
• Work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
• Physical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
