We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor/Assembler to join our team, focusing on assembling and managing AV equipment tailored for operating rooms. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, equipment assembly, and a strong understanding of AV technology.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records of AV equipment, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular audits.
Coordinate with customer procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Equipment Assembly and Testing:
Assemble AV equipment according to specifications and guidelines, ensuring quality and functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on assembled equipment to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Supervision and Training:
Supervise warehouse staff, including assemblers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of equipment, and compliance with company policies.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of equipment assembly processes, test results, and inventory updates.
Generate reports on inventory status, equipment performance, and warehouse operations for management review.
Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:
Collaborate with technical support teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and facilitate repairs or replacements.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong equipment lifespan and optimize performance.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Monitor product quality throughout the assembly process, identifying and addressing any defects or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and customer specifications.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics, AV technology, or related fields is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse management, equipment assembly, or similar roles, preferably in the AV industry or healthcare sector.
Familiarity with AV equipment used in operating rooms, such as displays, cameras, audio systems, and control interfaces.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance.
Proven experience as a forklift operator OR ability to obtain forklift operator certification within 90 days.
Knowledge of safety protocols, quality assurance practices, and regulatory requirements related to AV equipment assembly and installation.
