Overview of Position:

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Team Lead will be responsible for having a lead role in maintaining all incoming and outgoing shipment functions, as well as Finished Goods, instruments and parts inventory. This role is essential to ALPCO's operations as it encompasses the final step before a product or an instrument is delivered to one of ALPCO's customers.

Responsibilities:



Lead role in processing accurate and timely shipments of orders as designated by Customer Service team. Implementing dual verification in all related steps to ensure optimal accuracy.

Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GMP, IS, DOT, IATA and OSHA guidelines. Adhering to proper handling of controlled substances and biohazard materials.

Picking and order assembly under dual verification guidelines to prepare goods for shipping.

Processing Domestic and Internation shipping related paperwork through ALPCO's Software.

Communication with Finished Goods & Warehouse Manager regarding any shipping or receiving related errors or issues to promptly address concerns and timely notifying involved parties.

Inventory monitoring, processing and cycle counts to ensure continuous physical accuracy versus Inventory Management system.

Logging shipping records and completing shipping report to verify incoming and outgoing shipments of orders. Gather and file relative data on regular basis.

Receive, unpack, inspect and notify appropriate departments and personnel of steps required for release and designation to appropriate team or person(s).

Maintain a safe and clean work environment in warehouse and adjacent areas.

Assistance of Kit Assembly and Finished Goods related activities as per need basis.

General maintenance and ordering of related household items for Facilities upkeep as needed.

Other responsibilities as assigned by Finished Goods & Warehouse Manager as per need basis.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Requirements:



Attention to detail is a critical talent in this role.

Team leadership experience with small or large groups of colleagues preferred (3+ people)

Continuous Improvement mindset and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Highschool diploma or equivalent, in addition to 5-10 years of work experience.

Shipping & Receiving Experience in a Tech Industry is highly desired.

Proficiency with reading and understanding Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's), particularly the SOPs relevant to the daily tasks and general job functions.

Teamwork mindset, respect and professionalism.

Proficient in inventory management systems and physical inventory allocations.

Knowledge of quality systems within scope of CFR-20, cGMP & ISO:13485 guidelines.
