Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on packer to handle daily packing operations and coordinate outbound delivery logistics. This role ensures that all products are packed accurately, stored safely, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, understands food-safety standards.

Key Duties Meat Packing Operations

Oversee daily packing of fresh and frozen meat products according to company standards. Maintain strict food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control protocols. Ensure all cuts, weights, labels, and packaging match order requirements. Organize storage areas for optimal flow and easy access to high-volume SKUs.

Delivery & Logistics

Prepare outgoing orders for same-day and next-day delivery routes. Coordinate with drivers for efficient loading, route timing, and delivery accuracy. Oversee loading/unloading activities and ensure packages are handled safely. Track and confirm delivery completion, addressing issues proactively.

Inventory & Documentation

Use RF scanners or digital tools to track inventory in real time. Support weekly cycle counts and assist with receiving inbound products.

Warehouse & Team Management

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Communicate with leadership on shortages, operational issues, and workflow needs.

Qualifications

Prior experience in meat packing, food production, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred. Ability to manage and motivate a small operations team. Familiarity with RF scanners or digital inventory systems. Forklift operation experience (certification is a plus). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Understanding of shipping/receiving processes and cold-storage procedures. Reliable, consistent, and comfortable working in cold environments when needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
