GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Warehouse Operator performs a variety of duties involving the receipt, handling, distribution, storage, and inventory of materials used in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains inventory of materials and conducts cycle counts using SAP

Receives and ships material

Samples, labels, and stores materials received in the warehouse.

Assembles customer orders and process orders from stock.

Drives vehicle and forklift to transport items

Reads production schedules, customer orders, work instructions, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, consolidated, and/or distributed to designated areas.

Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements on time.

Conducts duties in compliance with all regulations and company and site policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned.

Must be available for overtime as assigned or on an emergency basis.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Four to six (4-6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

Proven hands-on experience with SAP for warehouse and material transactions, inventory movement and control required, preferred.

Familiarity with cGMPs, DEA, FDA, OSHA, and Environmental, Safety & Health regulations & requirements, preferred.

OTHER

Valid Driver's License.

Must be available for overtime as assigned or on an emergency basis.

The employee must possess the physical abilities required to perform general manufacturing and computer interactive activities including but not limited to: walking, standing, sitting, crouching, climbing, lifting (min 50 lbs), pushing, talking (English), wear personal protective equipment and clothing, possess the ability to hear, see far, near, and color, interact with a computer, and operate equipment such as hand and small power tools.
