Monday - Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm and Friday 10:00pm to 6:00pm.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced

Warehouse Operator Supervisor

to oversee daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on supervising forklift operators, coordinating equipment maintenance, and leading a team of warehouse personnel. This role requires solid technical aptitude, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Supervision

Supervise and coordinate the activities of forklift operators and general warehouse staff. Ensure timely and accurate movement, loading, and unloading of goods and materials. Monitor inventory flow and help manage stock placement and retrieval using WMS systems.

Personnel Management

Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and morale. Ensure staff compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and company policies. Provide coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance feedback when necessary.

Equipment & Maintenance Oversight

Oversee daily inspection, operation, and preventative maintenance of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Coordinate repairs and routine servicing with internal maintenance teams or external vendors. Maintain equipment logs and ensure readiness of all machinery for operational needs.

Technical & Systems Involvement

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other software to track inventory, schedule tasks, and monitor performance. Troubleshoot minor technical issues and liaise with IT or support teams for complex problems. Generate operational reports and performance metrics as required.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification is a plus.

Experience:

3+ years of warehouse operations experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Certifications:

Valid forklift certification required; OSHA training a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills. Working knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse machinery. Solid understanding of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse best practices. Ability to read technical manuals and conduct basic equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency with WMS, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment:

Physically active role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. May involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and exposure to varying temperatures. PPE and safety compliance required at all times.
