Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




Position Summary:





Perform production support functions. Meet the daily production support requirements deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts. Ensure parts are transacted in SAP, labeled and packaged according to specification. Complete stocking functions and update QWMS. Schedule movements both internal to facility and for shipping / receiving.




Essential Functions:




Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of picking, transacting, cycle count and inventory.

Perform in a cross-functional environment, coordinating with other departments such Quality, Warehouse, and Materials.

Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal incremental deadlines.

Build and pack out shipments, assuring proper labeling and documentation.

Communicate professionally via email with Program Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor and customer contacts regarding the status of parts and shipments.

Coordinate with offsite personnel for cycle count and inventory as necessary.

Actively seek ways to improve processes.

Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Education and Experience:




High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.

Forklift driver is preferred.

Good email communication skills.

Some SAP knowledge.

MS EXCEL experience, good to moderate user.



Other Skills and Abilities:




This is a

FULLY ONSITE

position; must be able to report onsite daily.

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.

Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Outlook, Excel.

Basic math skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Flexible; able to change direction with short notice.

Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.

Qualified to become certified on a forklift.



Physical Requirements:




Ability to lift 30-50 pounds regularly.

Able to stand, stoop and bend.

Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.

Able to operate a pallet jack.
