Job Summary

Receives parts and order information ticket from burner operator. 2.
Accurately checks to ensure both proper material size and quantity utilizing:
Tape Measures
Calipers
Yard Scales
Verification of item descriptions on work copies3.Removes burs and slag from parts using hand tools including chisels and hand-held grinders.
Packages and tags parts for shipment.
Moves packaged parts to staging area. (via forklift and or overhead/gantry crane)
Maintains housekeeping.

Job Function

Operates tumbling machine occasionally to clean parts.
Monitors work area.
Demonstrates ability and accepts responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the foreman as necessary to complete the shift.(using table saw for building pallets, empty hoppers with forklift etc.)
