We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, including inventory management, logistics coordination, process improvement initiatives, and team supervision. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and distribution activities. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Manage transportation planning and transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate freight movement effectively across multiple channels including 3PL providers and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners. Oversee procurement activities such as purchasing, vendor relations, and materials management to ensure timely availability of stock. Utilize ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) like AS400 or similar platforms for accurate data entry, inventory tracking, and supply chain analytics. Monitor profit & loss statements to maintain budget adherence while identifying opportunities for cost savings through continuous process improvement initiatives. Coordinate demand planning and production planning efforts to align inventory levels with forecasted sales and operational needs. Supervise warehouse staff by providing leadership in supervising experience, forklift operation certification, dispatching, and safety compliance. Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Oversee freight logistics including shipping & receiving schedules, freight negotiations, fleet management, and warehouse distribution. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes using supply chain management tools to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with procurement teams on purchasing decisions and vendor negotiations to optimize supply chain performance. Manage warehouse management system (WMS) updates and maintenance for accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.

Qualifications



Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics coordination. Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or similar systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Continuous Improvement practices. Familiarity with 3PL providers, freight negotiations, fleet management, NVOCC operations, and dispatching processes. Proficiency in using supply chain analytics tools for data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines. Valid forklift certification preferred; experience operating forklifts is essential. Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 48 per week
