to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and storage of goods. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all warehouse activities such as inventory control, picking, dispatching, security, and maintenance. The Warehouse Manager will also lead and develop warehouse staff, promote a safe work environment, and continuously evaluate and improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
Supervise and train team members, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve workplace issues.
Implement and enhance workflows, layouts, and procedures to support operational growth.
Ensure full compliance with company, federal, state, and local safety standards.
Oversee use and optimization of the Warehouse Management System , including setup, reporting, and process improvements.
Operate and train staff on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and scanners.
Maintain accurate inventory control and data entry records.
Collaborate with management to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
Work both in the office and on the warehouse floor as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of shipping procedures, carriers, and logistics regulations.
Hands-on experience with shipping, warehouse management, and invoicing software.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
Certified on forklifts and order pickers; able to train other team members.
Process-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Data entry experience and small business background preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Ability to read and speak Russian is a plus.
