Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with proven experience in supervising teams and optimizing warehouse processes. This role is essential for ensuring efficient order fulfillment, materials management, and transportation planning within our organization.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the distribution and logistic departments to plan and monitor all outgoing warehouse orders. Manage order pullers/forklift drivers and strapper wrappers throughout the workday by creating efficient workload schedules and ensuring accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks. Manage warehouse team members on organization, labeling, and proper storage of product inventory. Work with other department supervisors to establish, improve, enforce, and implement standard operating procedures designed to streamline warehouse operations, establish efficient workflow, and reduce frequency of mistakes and product damage. Ensure compliance of safety policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations to mitigate and reduce risk within the warehouse environment. To include but not limited to proper staging, handling, forklift operation, safety, and housekeeping requirments for warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field. 5+ years working in the tile and flooring industry. Preferably in distribution. 5+ years managing warehouse logistics with a strong working knowledge of inventory management, order fulfillment, distribution, and warehousing. 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience with prior certification required. Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Able to lift 50lbs unassisted. Must present an energetic, hands-on, and lead-by-example approach to all management operations. Working knowledge of warehouse safety polices and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics operations. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and freight logistics is preferred. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software tools. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations in regards to warehousing.
