Job Description

Salad and Go is seeking a Warehouse Manager who is responsible for leading and directing all warehouse activities associated with inbound receiving, inventory management and product picking to support manufacturing. Activities include managing the delivery and flow of goods between the warehouse and a network of 3PL partners, ensuring the right goods are on hand and available to meet the manufacturing schedule. Will build a team of top performing warehouse team members dedicated to safety, quality, and outstanding warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will be highly curious and motivated to drive process improvement in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages warehouse capacity to support the growth of the business
• Hire, train and develop high performing teams Identify opportunities for warehouse efficiencies, improved handling of inventory and overall warehouse performance, setting the course to drive systemic improvements, reducing waste and inventory obsolesces
• Ensure all inventories on hand are handled properly throughout the reconciliation process and month-end closing
• Inspect and ensure maintenance of dock and storage facilities in a clean and organized manner, meeting all GMP and Food Safety requirements
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Food warehouse management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (start-up experience a plus)
• Strong SAP/ERP/WM/Excel abilities strongly preferred. Experience with warehousing programs required
• 2-5 years of proven experience managing inventory and order reconciliation in a highly manual system
• Superb people skills in mentoring, coaching/counseling, motivation, performance management, and employee relations.
• Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data
