Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (Chinese/English) Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations within a dynamic supply chain environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain processes, with a strong focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with supervisory experience to lead a team, optimize warehouse functions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Fluency in both Chinese and English is essential to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and partners.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including overseeing shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and warehouse distribution activities. Manage transportation planning, freight coordination, and fleet management to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and supply chain analytics tools to monitor operations, inventory levels, and logistics performance. Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. Implement process improvements using Lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinate with 3PL providers, NVOCCs, and other logistics partners to streamline transportation management systems and freight operations. Manage budgeting, demand planning, production planning, and operations management activities to meet organizational goals. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while maintaining high standards of quality in all warehouse activities. Supervise dispatching, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping & receiving operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare reports on profit & loss metrics, supply chain performance, and other key operational indicators for senior management review.

Skills

Bilingual fluency in Chinese and English for effective communication across multicultural teams. Extensive warehouse supervisor experience with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (e.g., AS400), and supply chain analytics tools. Proven expertise in logistics management including freight forwarding, shipping & receiving, procurement, materials management, and inventory control. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), transportation planning, fleet management, and dispatching processes. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to manage budgeting processes along with demand planning and production scheduling. Familiarity with 3PL providers, NVOCC operations, freight forwarding procedures, procurement strategies, and warehouse distribution practices. Supervisory experience managing teams within fast-paced warehouse environments; proficient in forklift operation is a plus. Technical proficiency with ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms; strong analytical skills for supply chain management insights. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple functions including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination. This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while supporting strategic supply chain objectives through leadership excellence and process optimization.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
