Description:



Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will have primary responsibility for small parcel shipments, loading and unloading freight shipments, and receiving and shipping orders using company ERP and associated shipping programs.

Pack and ship small parcel orders Monitor packaging and MRO inventory levels Organize open orders at the start of each day Place orders and/or work with responsible party to place orders with suppliers Follow-up with supplier contacts on outstanding orders Escalate any abnormal system behavior to IT Unload inbound freight shipments Load outbound freight shipments Receive shipment into company ERP system Put received material away into correct location Maintain a clean and organized workspace All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Prior shippiing experience Prior ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) Ability to react to changing demands Team player, ability to communicate with multiple levels and departments Effectively manage and balance multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to learn company specific systems and operating procedures Microsoft Windows and Office suite. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
