Job Description

Warehouse Lead will handle the activities and operations of the warehouse.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

oWill be acting Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

oWill coach and train new hires on the warehouse standard operating procedures.

oResponsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including Receiving of Shop Tools, Supplies,and Inventory Items.

oMonitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy accessto inventory and supplies as needed.

oCommunicate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure products are on hand as needed.

oParticipates with Inventories at intervals as prescribed by the Company.

oOrganize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in theirdesignated location.

oMaintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accuraterepresentation of all goods shipped and received.

oVerify all incoming shipments to be accurate by following all warehouse SOP's and ensure all goods are inexcellent condition.

oMonitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.

oProperly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellentcondition.

oOrganize and sort items on shelves, bins, and overhangs according to company standards.

oAccurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items

oReliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped.

oPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience And Training

High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).

Forklift experience a plus.

Working Conditions

Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse. Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred. Typing and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory. Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance. The customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard. Motivated and work well with others. Strong leadership skills. Willingness to embrace change in a growing company. This position requires working in a warehouse environment. Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) and all-weather conditions.
