Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

Transport steel materials from one location to another using a flatbed truck. Inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues and safety concerns. Secure the load with straps, chains, and tarps to prevent damage during transit. Deliver the cargo on time and in good condition. Maintain accurate records of the trip, including fuel consumption, mileage, and hours of service. Follow all traffic laws and regulations- safety is priority! Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.

Travel multiple days per week from the home base in Fort Mohave, AZ to Utah for work assignments, which may include overnight stays.

Qualifications:

Class A license Clean driving record Ability to operate a flatbed truck with ease. Ability to work solo or in a team. Exceptional customer service skills Ability to work with limited supervision. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent
