The Warehouse Coordinator supports WZC Networking's technical field operations by managing equipment logistics, staging project materials, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role critical to keeping our project teams efficient and prepared. This position supports WZC's field technicians, engineers, and project managers--ensuring every project launches with precision and every piece of gear is accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Receive, label, and organize incoming shipments (network gear, cabling, tools, and materials).
Maintain accurate inventory records in Airtable, QuickBooks, and other WZC systems.
Perform cycle counts monthly and full audits quarterly.
Manage warranty returns (RMA) and track defective or backordered equipment.
Maintain serial number tracking for critical devices (switches, access points, BDAs, etc.).
Project Staging & Coordination
Prepare and stage materials and equipment for Wi-Fi, DAS/ERCES, and bridging projects.
Verify that project kits include correct quantities, cables, brackets, and accessories before deployment.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure equipment readiness aligns with installation timelines.
Coordinate shipping of project materials to remote job sites or field technicians.
Receive and check in returned equipment, ensuring completeness and condition.
Tool & Equipment Management
Track tool check-in/check-out for technicians and engineers (e.g., testers, lifts, drills, APoS kits).
Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules for critical testing equipment.
Ensure consumables (connectors, labeling supplies, cable ends, etc.) are replenished and stocked.
Warehouse Organization & Safety
Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse--ensuring clear labeling and efficient storage layouts.
Oversee warehouse access and security protocols.
Follow and enforce basic OSHA safety guidelines.
Coordinate maintenance for equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or ladders (if applicable).
Reporting & Process Improvement
Update inventory movement logs and reconcile discrepancies weekly.
Assist with identifying opportunities to streamline warehouse workflows and reduce time spent locating materials.
Provide the COO and Project Managers with insights into inventory trends (e.g., frequently used SKUs, shortages).
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in logistics or business preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience (tech or construction industry preferred).
Familiarity with low-voltage materials or network hardware is a plus.
Experience with software tools such as Airtable, QuickBooks, or Excel is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organization, communication, and accountability.
Comfortable with both digital systems and hands-on warehouse work.
Basic understanding of shipping, labeling, and receiving practices.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable--able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, bending, or moving throughout the warehouse as required.

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
7/8am - 12/1pm M - F
