Summary

The Warehouse Clerk reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and handles the receiving, storing and distributing material, equipment, etc. within the warehouse and production floor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Functions

Checks in material, matching purchase orders to deliveries, and distributing accordingly. Read customer orders, shipping orders, etc. to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and or shipped. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and visitors at all times. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Open crates and other containers. Record amounts of materials received or distributed in PLEX. Assist production with PLEX recording. Responsible for inventory accuracy. PLEX champion Perform cycle counts. Prepare parcels for mailing. Wear the proper personal protective equipment to do your job. Know the Quality and Environmental policy and their objectives. Follows all safety, environment and quality procedures and instructions. Adheres to all employment rules and regulations.

Requirements:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position, Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted by management

Eligibility Qualifications

High school diploma 1 year of experience in warehousing and receiving manufacturing environment
