Warehouse Baler

Over the last 68 years, SVdP has grown from a volunteer-led non-profit to the largest human services agency in Lane County with more than 600 employees. St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County is looking for ambitious and hardworking individuals to add to our team!! We have full-time work available as a Warehouse Baler! Candidate must have great attention to detail, work hard and efficiently in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Put all discard clothing in baler Use tipper to dump clothing, shoes, belts and purses, and textiles Swap full gaylords out and take them to the back room Swap miscellaneous and accessories palettes out Put empty boxes on palettes to send to stores Sweep floors, maintain clean and organized work area Provide clothing hangers to team members on the floor as needed Breaks down gaylords for store use

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Push and pull up to 35 lbs. continuously and 50 lbs. sometimes Pallet jack experience or willing to learn Forklift experience preferred or willing to learn Punctual and dependable. Adhere to Time and Attendance Policy Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Stand for 8 hours
