Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated business and looking to bring someone in who can manage our back-of-house operating. This person is responsible for keeping things running smoothly, so if you thrive with responsbility and manage yourself well then this might be a good fit.

In this role you will be responsible for making deliveries and picking up new material in our company vehicle, unloading trucks with our forklift, and keeping track of inventory.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time daily. Tardiness throws a wrench into our operation Manage inventory levels Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, company econoline van, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments Conduct shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are properly accounted for Maintain a clean and organized work environment and warehouse Collaborate with Customer Service Manager and General Manager to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency Cleaning the shop as-needed Throw away remnants as-needed

Skills

Strong knowledge of inventory management practices Proficient in operating forklifts a plus Basic driver's license Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties Previous experience in a warehouse setting a plus Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment, and in a slow one

About Us

We're a locally owned and operated business and we're looking for someone dependable to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. This person is responsible for keeping things moving along, so if you thrive with responsbility and manage yourself well then this might be a good fit.

This role is hands-on and varied. You'll be making deliveries and picking up materials in our company Econoline van, unloading trucks with a forklift, and keeping track of inventory. You'll also help keep the shop clean and tidy.

What You'll Be Doing

Show up on time every day, if you don't it throws a wrench into everything Keep inventory organized and up to date Operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and our ol' reliable Econoline van Handle shipping and receiving--make sure everything's accounted for Keep the warehouse clean and clutter-free Work with our Customer Service Manager and General Manager to keep things flowing Toss out scrap and remnants when needed Clean front-of-house weekly

What We're Looking For

Someone who's comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs Forklift experience is a plus (but we can train you) Basic driver's license required Handy with tools or able to troubleshoot equipment is a plus Previous warehouse experience is helpful Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage your time--whether it's a busy day or a slow one

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
