Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Also must be drug-free and able to drive a box truck to make daily deliveries. You must have a good driving record, be able to provide a driver's physical, be able to operate a fork-lift, and be familiar with the roads in the MD/DC/VA area.

Duties

Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments Utilize RF scanners for inventory control and order fulfillment Follow safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations Package products for shipping and prepare orders for delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize distribution processes Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy

Skills

Proficient in inventory management and control techniques Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation including forklifts and battery pallet jack. Knowledge of packaging procedures and order picking processes Ability to perform tasks related to shipping & receiving, picking & packing, and order fulfillment Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a distribution setting.

Pay: $22.34 - $26.90 per hour
