The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing inventory and organizing stock levels to ensure efficient warehouse operations. They handle receiving and shipping of goods, verify the accuracy of deliveries, and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate supports overall warehouse activities, including preparing orders and providing assistance as needed. Pay range is $16.50 - $18.50, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Stock and Inventory Management
Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory to ensure accurate tracking of all items.
Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Incoming Deliveries Verification
Verify the accuracy of the quantity of incoming deliveries to ensure orders are complete.
Report any discrepancies in quantity to suppliers or the purchasing department for resolution.
Outgoing Deliveries Management
Pick products, create invoices, and verify the accuracy and quantity of outgoing deliveries.
Ensure that picked products match customer orders and invoices accurately reflect the items being shipped.
Low Inventory Alerts
Create a list of missing or low inventory items for purchasing to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Set inventory thresholds to trigger reordering before stock runs out.
Receiving Products and Purchase Receipts
Receive products, verify quantities, and create purchase receipts to document incoming inventory.
Accurately document all received products and ensure receipt records are updated.
Delivery Preparation and Final Check
Pick products, create invoices, and conduct a final check before delivery to ensure accuracy.
Perform a final inspection to verify that all products and quantities match the order and invoice.
Customer Assistance
Assist customers with locating products and performing price checks to enhance their shopping experience.
Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately to improve customer satisfaction.
Customer Payment Management
Manage customer payments by receiving, counting, and filling out the log sheet to ensure accurate transaction records.
Verify the accuracy of payment amounts and ensure proper recording in the log sheet.
Warehouse Organization and Cleanliness
Keep the warehouse organized, ensuring products are stored properly and aisles are clear for safe movement.
Establish daily cleaning routines to keep the warehouse tidy and free of hazards.
