Job Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a wide range of manual and operational tasks within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires continuous physical activity, including extensive walking, heavy lifting, and working at elevated heights while following all safety protocols. While forklift operation may be required, this position is primarily hands-on and labor-intensive rather than a dedicated equipment-operator role.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily warehouse operations such as picking, packing, staging, loading, and unloading materials. Walk extensively throughout the facility to retrieve, transport, and organize inventory. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to

50-60 pounds

on a regular basis. Work at elevated heights using approved

fall protection equipment

, including ladders, platforms, or mezzanines. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts as required (certification preferred or provided). Accurately label, scan, and track inventory using warehouse management systems or handheld devices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and general warehouse housekeeping. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and safe material-handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environment. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience. Familiarity with inventory systems, scanners, or RF devices.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Fast-paced warehouse setting with frequent walking and standing. Regular lifting of heavy materials (up to 50-60 lbs). Work performed at ground level and elevated heights with fall protection. Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
