We are seeking to hire a dynamic, energetic warehouse associate in our Portland International Airport location. This role involves supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient distribution processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Put the customer first at all times, (internal and external customers)
Provide best in class customer service through efficient inventory control processes and distribution
Proper utilization and respect for company issued tools and resources, with applications based on
security practices of work environment
Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates
Maintain store / stockroom / warehouse appearance with respect to creating a safe working
environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, visual merchandising, housekeeping
and maintenance standards
Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns, transfer transactions,
etc. on our handheld or Company equipment
Efficiently and accurately complete any required process controls (paperwork, etc.)
Ensure consistent application of stock security as per defined processes
Be able to resolve inventory control issues and escalate as required
Accurately report and follow up on all IMT issues
Identify and report to management discrepancies according to defined process
Price stock and assist in store stocking, where required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency required / bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum one year of warehouse retail or customer service experience required
Must have strong customer service and effective communication skills.
Work with a consistent sense of urgency.
Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once.
Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimal instruction.
Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
Computer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing lifting, bending, stocking. etc...
weekend work, early morning availability is a must
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic
Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing warehouse systems.
Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting and data entry.
Stock shelves and organize materials efficiently within the warehouse environment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or distribution centers
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely
Strong mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and packaging machinery
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order picking
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, order picking, and load/unload tasks
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments
Experience with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing for shipping & receiving
Construction or manufacturing background is a plus for understanding heavy equipment operation and materials handling tasks
This Warehouse Associate position requires a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
Pay: From $18.38 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.0 per week
