Our commissary team keeps the entire operation moving--prepping orders, loading product, and ensuring clean, reliable deliveries to each store. We're expanding and looking for a dependable, early-morning team member to join our delivery crew.

Position Overview

Spread Bagelry Inc. is seeking a reliable

Commissary Delivery Driver

to support daily deliveries from our

newly built Fishtown commissary

to our store locations throughout the Philadelphia area.

This role consists of

three 8-10 hour shifts per week

, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on operational needs. Weekend availability is required.

Schedule

Required Shifts:

Sunday:

4:00 AM - 12:00-2:00 PM

Wednesday:

4:00 AM - 12:00-2:00 PM

Friday:

4:00 AM - 12:00-2:00 PM

Optional Additional Shifts:

Thursdays or Saturdays as needed.

What You'll Do

Begin each shift with

2 hours of pick, pack, and loading

to prepare orders for a 6:00 AM departure. Deliver store orders to Spread locations across Philadelphia. Operate an

11-foot box truck with a hydraulic lift gate

(or extended Econoline van when needed). Unload product and complete

recovery routes

, returning racks, trays, and dishware to the commissary. Assist with general warehouse responsibilities as needed. Drive safely and maintain all delivery equipment in good condition.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

(required). Ability to

obtain a Medical DOT Card within 30 days

of hire.

Warehouse experience required

-- high-volume background (Amazon/UPS/FedEx style) strongly preferred. Comfortable driving a

15-foot box truck

in city and highway environments. Ability to

lift 50-70 lbs

and maneuver racks, carts, and dollies. Strong attention to detail for adjusting order sheets, accuracy, and loading integrity. Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early-morning shifts.

No alcohol or drug use permitted

while on duty or operating company vehicles.
