Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position offers opportunities to work with heavy equipment and advanced warehouse management systems, contributing to the seamless flow of goods from receipt to shipping.

Duties

Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting via RF scanners Operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely. Perform order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Utilize RF scanners for precise order fulfillment and inventory tracking. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing warehouse layout for optimal workflow. Conduct materials handling activities including heavy lifting and mechanical tasks with proper safety procedures. Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals. Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Participate in warehouse management system updates and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions.

Requirements

Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred. Proficiency with inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy. Previous experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or manufacturing environments is advantageous. Warehouse supervisor experience or knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
