Responsibilities



Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately and ensure proper inventory control. Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment tasks with precision to meet customer demands. Conduct shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting transactions. Utilize materials handling equipment for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with warehouse distribution operations by organizing storage areas, replenishing stock, and maintaining a clean workspace. Support warehouse manager in implementing inventory management procedures and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Operate mechanical tools and equipment as needed for packaging, loading/unloading cargo, or construction-related tasks within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during order picking & packing processes and support shipping & receiving functions. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, inspections, and safety checks to uphold high standards of warehouse management. Be able to organize and help maintain efficiency in designated areas of the warehouse Be able to load and unload trucks. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Skills



Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers confidently and safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment and packaging machinery. Excellent skills in inventory control, stock replenishment, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures. Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and inventory tracking. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity during busy periods. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors seamlessly. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
