Job Description
Bequet Confections seeks an experienced warehouse associate to be responsible for all product movement. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can prioritize workload and follow instructions. We are looking for a dependable individual with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Unload incoming shipments.
Count and inspect incoming product, noting discrepancies or damage.
Record incoming product and lot information.
Prepare and load pallets for outgoing shipments according to customer requirements.
Maintain warehouse organization.
Supply production with required items.
Communication with customer service, production, shipping, freight drivers, and supervisors.
Follow all food and personnel safety policies.
Assist in other areas as necessary.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently. Transfer product 10 - 20 feet.
Previous warehouse experience of 1 to 3 years.
Previous experience driving forklift. Experience on sidewinder forklift a plus.
Previous experience receiving product a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
