Summary

We are seeking a reliable delivery driver/warehouse associate to join our team at CED. The driver/warehouse employee will safely drive and handle all materials in accordance with the company's standards of service. This position is also responsible for various duties related to the handling of materials in the warehouse. This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Responsibilities

Deliver company materials to customers and interact with the public in a safe, professional, and courteous manner. Operate company vehicles safely and legally; maintain a clean driving record. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including reading orders, picking, packing, loading/unloading trucks, and transferring materials. Move, sort, and store materials accurately in designated areas (racks, shelves, bins) using RF scanners and business management systems. Assemble, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup. Assist with physical inventory through regular cycle counting and stock checks. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and wire cutters, in accordance with safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; perform general housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting). Provide customer service support for will-call and walk-in customers as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment safely. Familiarity with route driving and navigation within local areas. Electrical supply industry knowledge is preferred but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
